Japanese Steakhouse
In this interactive hands-on class, you’ll learn how to recreate the flavors of a traditional hibachi dinner right in your own kitchen. Students will master restaurant-style fried rice, perfectly seasoned chicken and steak, sautéed vegetables, homemade yum yum sauce, and crispy Japanese dumplings with a savory ginger-soy dipping sauce.
We’ll finish the evening with caramelized grilled pineapple sundaes for a sweet ending that’s as fun as it is delicious.
You’ll leave with new cooking techniques, confidence working with high heat, and a complete Japanese steakhouse menu you can recreate at home.
Important Information:
• You will work with other students in groups of 2, sharing workstations and equipment.
• Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise posted
• Beer, wine and crafted cocktails are available for purchase only. NO BYOB.
• Classes are limited to 18 students.
• You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
