Island Flavors of Bali
Transport your kitchen to the lush islands of Indonesia in this vibrant, flavor-packed class inspired by the bold and aromatic cuisine of Bali.
Students will learn how to build deep, complex flavor using traditional Balinese spice pastes and techniques while preparing three signature dishes. We’ll start by crafting Sate Lilit, a uniquely Balinese satay made with finely chopped meat and fragrant spices, wrapped around skewers and grilled to perfection. Next, you’ll simmer a rich and comforting Balinese Vegetable Curry, layered with coconut milk, warming spices, and fresh herbs. To finish, we’ll create Es Campur, a refreshing and colorful Indonesian dessert filled with tropical flavors and textures.
This class is perfect for those looking to expand their global cooking repertoire while learning techniques that can be recreated at home.

• Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise posted
• Beer, wine and crafted cocktails are available for purchase only. NO BYOB.
• Classes are limited to 18 students.
• You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
