Weeknight Bowls: Mediterranean Style
Build your new weeknight go-to bowl-fresh, balanced and full of flavor! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to create vibrant and delicious bowls that combine protein, fiber and bold flavors into one beautifully layered meal.
This week we will focus on summer Mediterranean flavors. We’ll start with a mezze plate of fresh vegetables, pita chips, and an ultra-creamy hummus. Next, we’ll cook Lemon-Garlic Skillet Chicken, pair it with a hearty grain, pan roasted vegetables and top it with creamy feta dressing. We’ll save the best for last with a delicate lemon olive oil cake that’s bright, tender and not too sweet.
Important Information:
• You will work with other students in groups of 2, sharing workstations and equipment.
• Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise posted
• Classes are limited to 18 students.
• You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
