Rising Chefs Cooking Camp
Ready to level up your kitchen skills? This two-day camp is designed especially for 3rd and 4th graders who are ready to tackle more advanced recipes while having a blast in the kitchen.
Throughout camp, students will build confidence as they measure, mix, knead, shape, roll, and cook everything from scratch. They’ll learn practical cooking techniques that can be used at home while creating meals they’ll be proud to share with their families.
Each child works at their own station, preparing every recipe themselves with guidance from Chef Jess in a fun, encouraging environment.
No previous cooking experience is required—just come ready to cook!

Day One Menu
Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits
Learn the secrets to making tall, flaky biscuits completely from scratch.
Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches
Build a delicious breakfast sandwich using your homemade biscuits, fluffy eggs, and savory fillings.
Homemade Monkey Bread
Transform homemade biscuit dough into warm cinnamon pull-apart monkey bread with a buttery glaze.
Fruit Smoothies
Blend fresh fruit into refreshing smoothies while learning how to balance flavors and textures.
Day Two Menu
Fresh Pasta from Scratch
Mix, knead, roll, and cut fresh pasta dough while learning the fundamentals of homemade pasta.
Classic Homemade Marinara Sauce
Prepare a simple tomato sauce using fresh ingredients and Italian herbs.
Garlic Bread with Homemade Herb Butter
Whip fresh herb butter from scratch before transforming bread into crispy, golden garlic bread.
Important Information:
• You will work with other students in groups of 2, sharing workstations and equipment.
• Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours, unless otherwise posted.
• Water and soda are included with class.
• Classes are limited to 3rd & 4th graders.
• You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class.
